Why do I want to buy “handcrafted” vs. “laser-cut” (i.e., mass-produced).

While we can sometimes appreciate the cut and style that comes with a laser-cut design, it often feels like a cheap way to produce items that are not individual or unique. 

It really depends on the tone that you want to set in your home – or in your gift-giving.  Does it matter to you that you can look at a piece and see the hard work that went into cutting each intricate detail, then creating a finish that will shine in your home?  Or will it make a difference to your gift recipient that the workmanship is unique and special?
